These are manufactured using the Schneider Electric Varplus M capacitors from 230 to 690 volts.
These capacitors use a self-healing metallised polypropylene film requiring no gas or liquid impregnation. With the built in HQ protection system to protect against both high and low current faults, and very high quality plastics with outstanding mechanical properties and maximum self-extinguishing ratings (UL945 VA certification).
The controllers we use are the Varlogic R6 and R12 which are insensitive to CT polarity and phase rotation polarity they also have an automatic C/K ration search facility all of the above simplify the commissioning process.
We use the LC1-D-K contactors which are specifically designed for capacitor switching. The contactors are equipped with a set of contacts and current limiting resistors. This technology is unique and patented.
