Package Substations by BMC Manufacturing
BMC Manufacturing have manufactured package substations with transformer ratings from 1MVA to 4MVA using various transformer manufacturers but would offer Schneider Trihal Cast Resin Transformers where the client does not have a Brand preference.
Manufactured to IEC-61439-1/2 the Substation can be complete with MV Switchgear or without depending on the site and MV design. The substations can also incorporate multiple MV/LV transformers where there is a requirement for 2 or more transformers.
All Substations can be manufactured with all or some of the following
- MV/ LV interlocking to control safe access to the transformer enclosure
- Transformer ratings up to 4MVA
- Forms of Separation up to Form 4 Type 7
- 200% neutral bus bar where required
- Seismically tested and certified
- Air-cooled or force ventilated for specific locations
- Front & rear access, top & bottom cable entry and exit
- All RAL colours available
- IP Protection from IP31 to IP54
- Devices including ACB’s, MCCB’s, Switch-Fuses, Fixed, Plugin or Withdrawable
- Devices Manually or Automatically operated and controlled via PLC or other control systems
- Energy Monitoring and or Metering incorporating management functionality where required
- Thermal Imaging and Monitoring options are available
