Who we are
BMC Manufacturing (company no. 235409, registered office: Ashtec House, Ballybin Road, Ashbourne, Co. Meath, A84PX23, Ireland), is the data controller for the personal data you give us when you register your interest in working with us. Contact: info@bmcmfg.ie
What we collect
Your name, contact details (email and/or phone number), the role(s) you are interested in, and any CV or work history you choose to share with us.
Why we collect it and our legal basis
We use your details only to manage the recruitment process for roles you register interest in, including contacting you about those roles. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to potentially entering an employment contract, and our legitimate interest in assessing candidates.
If you tick the optional box, we will also keep your details to contact you about future vacancies - that processing is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
Your details are accessible only to our People & Culture team and are processed on our behalf by our HR platform (HRDuo) and by Microsoft (Microsoft Forms / Microsoft 365), both acting as data processors under contract. We do not sell or otherwise share your data with third parties.
How long we keep it
If you are not selected, we delete your details within 12 months of collection, unless you have consented to us keeping them for future vacancies or you become an employee (in which case our employee privacy notice applies).
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing info@bmcmfg.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).
